Scott Oldford is the creator and mind behind his award-winning web development company Essential Coding Inc. He is from Newfoundland, Canada and is passionate about web development and design.

When Scott isn't running his web development company, he is involved in a number of different projects. Namely OutlineThis, an online application for freelancers and agencies to manage project outlines. ThinkGrade, an application designed for the educational sector to enable schools to easily create and manage online tests along with a whole host of other exciting online ventures.

• Youth in Motions Top 20 under 20 — This national-wide award is given to young students under the age of twenty that has shown great achievement, innovation and leadership abilities.
• Venture of the Year 2007 — This award is given to the best venture of the year in Newfoundland and Labrador and awarded by the Youth Ventures Program.
• Excellence in Technology 2007 and 2008 — This award is given to the business showing excellence in Technology and awarded by the Youth Ventures Program.
• Small Business of the Year — The best business in the Exploits Region that has under 10 employees. This award is sponsored by CBDC.
• Youth Leadership Excellence Award — Given to an outstanding youth that exhibits leadership within youth throughout the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Presented and Awarded by NLREDA.
