Twilight, a New York Times Best Seller written by Stephenie Meyer that hit the shelves in 2006, is now a phenomenon on the big screen. Putting vampire gore cliche aside, Meyer's story is about a forbidden, yet romantic teenage relationship about a human, Isabella (also known as "Bella") Swan and a vampire, Edward Cullen, and how they overcome the obstacles that stand in their way.

The Canadian spin off to the American version of So You Think You Can Dance finally began this September with Auditions ranging from Vancouver to Calgary to Halifax, spreading right across the nation. At last, a spin off that matches the likes of the original American version, with an amazing group of Top 20 dancers.

If there is any band that proves that Britain has some of the best music in the world, it is Muse.  This trio of rockers from Teignmouth, Devon has remained largely unnoticed by North Americans, but it their home country they are stars, playing to sold out audiences in arenas such as Wembley Stadium, and selling millions of albums.  Fortunately for the music listening public, the band deserves all of this success and more.  Muse are, in my opinion, possibly the best band of the decade.
