I figured while I had some time off before vacationing, I’d better clean some things up! This was a good excuse to pull out the old paintbrush and make some custom water colour textures. I’m moving away from the branding, and heading closer toward promoting my name. Some might miss the friendly welcoming bear and the punch of blue, but I feel that something cleaner will allow for this to be more content centric.

p.s. Thanks to Brian Reavis and Joshua Jenkins for the code help (and Lisa for some other fidgety things) Couldn’t have fixed those annoying cross browser things without them :)

I got some new unexciting furniture and was left with giant flat packs to throw in the recycling bin. It would have been a crime to not do something with it; so I doodled up this massive guy onto a door-sized slab. Any excuse to fashion an over-sized bear is a great one!

Been looking and digging around for free illustrated mascots for your site? Chances are you probably have had to pay for them, or be locked down by hidden restrictions.

Well away with all of that nonsense! Here’s a little pack of fellows absolutely free for you to use, and redistribute. All we ask for in return is a link back to show us how these gentlemen have been of service to you (but you don’t even have to do that).

Go download them & give them a whirl!

Brought to you by the always wonderful Function & yours truly.

Remember, if you’d like your own custom & unique pieces, don’t hesitate to contact me

The courier trudged up the path to the front door to deliver a FedEx package today. Inside was a signed copy of the marvelous graphic novel - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, by one of my favourite & much respected Illustrators - Kevin Cornell. I’d been looking forward to the movie, but the book is really something special! {e} house studio are the kind souls who mailed me this wonderful package of fun. I absolutely recommend getting a copy in for yourself and letting your eyes feast on some great Illustration, and a silly story.

Thanks a bunch to the lads and lasses at {e} house studio, & of course Kevin!

A short ‘film’ made for a 2d & Alternative Techniques Class. It probably doesn’t make any sense to anyone, but it was successful in making me lose several piles of hours that I could have been sleeping with.
