19 Websites to Promote your Design News

For any blogger, increase his website traffic is one of the primary objective. I'll explain how I proceed to promote my design News around the web. All of this websites give me traffic and strong links (about 400 per news, Google Webmaster and Yahoo Site explorer) which help for SEO and positions Cssleak on new Keyword.

I used 2 categories of websites : Digg-like, and using Community News. For each websites, I write if you need to register and an estimation of traffic on 3-4 days.

1- Digg-like :

Of Course generic Digg-like : Digg, Mixx ...

  • Members create accounts.

Others :

DesignFloat

Design Float

  • Members create accounts.
  • about 10-20 visitors (if you stay in upcoming news section)
  • about 300-600 visitors (if your news is published)

Hey thanks for including Design Float! Entries that become published on Design Float usually see between 300 and 600 visits and it only takes 3 votes to make it to the front page!

Noura Yehia > 1200 was a week end without update, my news stayed at te top for 3 days.

Perhaps you can consider The Photoshop Roadmap (http://www.photoshoproadmap.com) You can submit your Photoshop tutorials and downloads here: http://www.photoshoproadmap.com/Submit-links In general, tutorials receive between 100 and 400 visits per day. Since it a directory (not a voting site), the traffic is steady after the initial peak. Thanks!
